Sumitomo Electric Group is Hiring a Sales Executive Near California, CA

Description

Position at Sumitomo Electric U.S.A., Inc.

The base salary range for this position is $67,000 to $85,000 annually. (Exempt position, onsite)

Job Summary:

Coordinate sales, and manage design-in and business development activities, for TSG and ESG products. From time to time, the employee may be required to perform functions or duties additional to those described herein.

Essential Functions:   

• Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve short/long-term success.
• Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs.
• Set and track sales target, aligned with company/group objectives.
• Develop business for new customers and markets.
• Coordinate and process sales and orders of ESG products.
• Providing product information including pricing, specifications, availability, delivery, etc. to current and prospective customers.
• Negotiate pricing with related vendors and customers while maintaining positive relationship and communication.
• Monitoring customers’ situation carefully and taking necessary actions. (including financial and overdue payment matters)
• Provide monthly report to group manager to update and summarize major ongoing projects and new enquiries.
Minimum Position Requirement:
  • College degree in a business or technical major.
  • Min. 3 years’ sales or business development experience.
  • English and Japanese oral and written communication skills
  • Computer/IT literacy in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint and other web basis tools. 
  • National and International travel required. 
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US. 
  • Valid US driver license.
