Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our team. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities, including managing the dining area, bar, and host/host team - Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on service standards - Oversee the flow of guests and manage reservations to maximize seating capacity - Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation - Handle cash transactions accurately and securely - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations - Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner - Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns - Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members - Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving overall restaurant performance Qualifications: - Previous experience in restaurant management or similar role is required - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of inventory control procedures - Proficient in cash handling procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Familiarity with kitchen management procedures is preferred - Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions based on qualifications and fit We offer competitive compensation, opportunities for career advancement, and a positive work environment.
