Communications Coordinator | Gulf of Mexico

Are you a Communications Coordinator looking for an exciting new challenge?

If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you in our Gulf of Mexico business.

In this role, you will have the chance to coordinate various events, internal campaigns, and social media content to inform and engage our team and external stakeholders.

We're searching for someone detail-oriented and willing to go the extra mile. Our ideal candidate will have recently graduated with a degree in Communications.

This position is based in Houston, TX, and offers flexible and hybrid working options for a healthy work-life balance.

The role you will play in our team:

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for keeping everyone inspired, engaged, and on the same page. Your mission is to help us celebrate our culture by delivering fun and engaging messages through different channels and creative formats.

Your typical day will include:

  • Ensuring that our team is connected, engaged, and updated with the latest news and events.
  • Creating some amazing content, both written and visual, that brings our team together across different communication channels.
  • Sharing our stories, the ordinary and the extraordinary, to help people understand our exciting journey towards sustainable energy.
  • Collaborating closely with our leaders and internal teams to make sure that our messages align with business goals.
  • Actively supporting local events and cultural days to promote inclusivity and foster a sense of community.
  • Maintaining an inventory of our branded merchandise and marketing materials, ensuring that they follow our brand guidelines.
  • Working closely with our external team of designers, animators, and videographers to create unforgettable brand campaigns.
  • Providing administrative support to our Human Resources team.

About you

  • You are proficient with design tools such as Photoshop and Canva.
  • You possess good organizational skills and can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
