Studio Pilates South Slope & Studio Pilates Cobble Hill is Hiring a Fitness Studio Manager Near Brooklyn, NY

POSITION:

The Area Studio Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding studio revenue goals and new class pack sales by executing strategic community outreach, in studio lead generation, and generating client referrals. Under the management of a Franchise Owner and with the support of a Studio Pilates Support Team, the Area Studio Manager will have leadership qualities in all areas of the business. Area Studio Manager must have the ability to build lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order build a strong community and retain members. The Area Studio Manger is rooted in sales, marketing, and operations while upholding our mission to fuel energetic communal experience. We have 2 Brooklyn studios which the Area Studio Manager would be responsible for managing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideal candidate will have 2 years of Studio Management within the fitness industry.
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training team members on sales processes
  • Ability to manage and grow 2 revenue streams: class pack sales and retail
  • Must have excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, via email and SMS.
  • Ability to excel and adapt in a fast changing, diverse environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Willing to follow processes established by the Franchise
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
  • An affinity and passion for fitness
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Organized, proficient in data management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines
  • Professional, punctual, and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co workers, clients, and vendors
  • Proficiency with computers, CRMs, POS, and other studio management software (Ideally Mindbody, but not required)

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Franchisee Owner on establishing monthly, quarterly, yearly goals
  • Determine staffing needs for each studio. Handle rostering for both the instructors and Sales Associates.
  • Plan and execute marketing and sales strategies for each studio. This includes, but not limited to client retention, increasing the existing client database, challenges throughout the year, events in the studio, and local area marketing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all studio visitors
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service; as well as coordinate "smash parties" with the team quarterly to foster staff morale.
  • Conduct interviews and hire qualified candidates to join the sales team, as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels on the floor and ensure adequate stock is available at all times
  • Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness in the studio, making sure the reformers are safe, etc.
  • Ensure the team is using the applicable business systems to facilitate regular communication between each other. For example, client alerts are formatted correctly and are up-to-date, consistent use of dates and abbreviations in contact logs, etc
  • Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio environment
  • Check the quarterly marketing plan and update any in-store marketing campaign collateral/order necessary collateral for upcoming campaigns
  • Google reviews and social media. Manage the studio’s social media via the digital stack platform and make sure to always respond to all Google reviews per the Franchise process.
  • Lead by example. Foster a culture that is supportive, inclusive and one that encourages each other to perform at their best.
  • Send out a weekly newsletter to communicate with the staff on performance, happenings in the studio for the coming week and any housekeeping notes.
  • Ensure First Aid/CPR certificate is up to date.
  • Work closely with the Sales Associates on upcoming marketing campaigns.
  • Determine if additional resources are needed to support the Sales Associate with any upcoming events in the studio.
