Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Life Enrichment Manager to join our team. As a Life Enrichment Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities and programs. Duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive life enrichment program that meets the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of our residents
- Plan and coordinate a variety of activities, events, and outings to promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being
- Conduct assessments to identify individual resident interests, preferences, and abilities
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a person-centered care approach
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed
- Provide recreational therapy interventions to enhance physical and cognitive functioning
- Offer support and guidance to residents and their families regarding aging issues, dementia care, and senior care options
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and progress
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of recreational therapy principles and techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with social work practices and aging issues counseling is beneficial
- Understanding of dementia care best practices is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
- Proficient in event planning and execution
