We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Memory Care- Universal Role for the 1st shift. As a Memory Care- Universal Role, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents in a memory care setting. This position requires strong caregiving skills, knowledge of memory care systems, and the ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Duties:
- Provide direct support and care to residents in a memory care unit
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Implement memory care systems and strategies to promote resident well-being and engagement
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents with memory impairments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Engage residents in social activities and programs to enhance their quality of life
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Lift and transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assistive devices

Skills:
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles, preferably in a memory care or nursing home setting
- Knowledge of memory care systems and strategies
- Strong understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals with memory impairments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of social work principles is a plus
