Sales Development Representative (Nashville/Brentwood, TN)

Are you a natural communicator? Is there nothing better than finding the prospect, setting the appointment, and hitting your monthly goals? Do you spend time with books, podcasts, and webinars that help you improve your prospecting skills?

Stringfellow is looking for a Sales Development Representative to prospect via phone, email, and social in order to qualify and set appointments for our outside sales team.

Before considering this position please make sure you are comfortable with the following expectations!

  1. You must be able to cold call . This is a critical skill in the sales process and will be key to your success. We will provide the tools and database, you have to provide the confidence and skill to make the calls and get appointments set.
  2. You must be technically savvy . We are a technology company after all. If you are not great with CRM systems, marketing automation, spreadsheets and technology (in general), this position is NOT a good fit for you.
  3. You must be willing to learn and train on our sales process. The Sales Team Manager will be with you each step of the way, but you have to work and learn our sales process. Consistent results only happen if we are all following the process.
  4. You must think that sales is a noble and fun profession. Please don’t apply if sales is not something you are interested in or think is a stop-gap job. Sales is the most important part of any organization, and it all starts with prospecting.
  5. You must have a growth mindset. We want to teach you how to be successful, follow our Core Values, and grow both personally and professionally. This can be a difficult job if you have the wrong attitude. The right attitude can launch a successful sales career!

Responsibilities

This position will report to the Sales Team Manager. You will be responsible for our sales development efforts including:

  • Making outbound calls to our prospect database (SalesForce, ZoomInfo)
  • Sending and responding to emails from our prospects. This is automated using ZoomInfo's Engage sales platform.
  • Participating in coaching sessions to improve outbound prospecting skills.
  • Utilizing our CRM platform to log all outbound activities.
  • Utilizing various social channels to connect with prospects, with a focus on LinkedIn.
  • Hitting weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals consistently.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or minimum 2 years of work experience in outbound sales role
  • Strong communication skills especially via phone
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Drive to success and hit your goals each day
  • Commitment to company core values
  • Healthcare SaaS sales would be nice
