LEVEL 2 TECHNICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and provide support for Clients via remote tools, inbound/outbound calls, and email
• Create consistent documentation of end-user contact info, interactions, time entries, associated activity, and root cause resolutions 
• Ensure timeliness of ticket submissions, escalations, required actions, and associated notifications
• Create and distribute documentation to technical staff for all modified and new systems
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide superior client service in all circumstances
• Correctly configure and troubleshoot servers, networks, wireless access, and customer applications
• Provide server and network support and troubleshooting
• Perform assigned project tasks
• Train and mentor Level 1 technicians

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have: 

• Healthcare IT support experience would be nice
• Proven experience in the implementation of enterprise systems, applications, and related products
• Working experience supporting all current Microsoft Server Operating Systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 configuration and support
• Ability to configure, support & troubleshoot connection settings for Microsoft, Azure, and Cloud Environments
• Working technical knowledge of current networking protocols and methodology, including LAN’s WANs, Advanced IP Networking, Site-to-Site VPN, IP routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs

• Extensive experience with core server applications and technologies, including VMWare, Hyper-V, and current Microsoft Server Operating Systems
• High-level technical knowledge of SonicWall/Meraki devices and other networking gear
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree from 4-year accredited program or 4 years of relevant work experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Microsoft certifications a plus
• ITIL and Networking certifications a plus
• Hybrid Work Environment - Brentwood/Nashville, TN Office
