Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an Operations Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in St. Louis, MO!
Title: Operations Specialist (Apple Support)
Location: St. Louis, MO - Onsite
Role Type: W2 contract engagement
Start Date: ASAP
About The Position
We are migrating from UEM\Airwatch to inTune as our MDM platform for our mobile devices. We have ~5,000 iPhones and iPads that will need to be migrated over. The work includes coordinating with leadership at each location, performing the migrations on the date\times scheduled, and tracking status & completion. The migration process will include factory resetting the coworker's mobile device, then setting back up, and validating functionality afterward along troubleshooting any issues that come up.
Responsibilities:
• Performing factory resets on iOS devices and\or walking our coworkers through the process.• Setup of iPhones\iPads including the installation and configuration of certain apps.
• Going site by site to complete this work in accordance to the schedule.
• Planning and coordination with the local sites based off the defined schedule.
• Communicating with coworkers, leaders, and other Digital team members.
• Prep work ahead of each site's migration.
• Updating tracking with status updates and completion.
• System updates as a part of each migration (i.e. transfer of licenses, removing device from old MDM system, etc.)
Requirements:
• Apple support experience (iPhone\iPad) preferred but not required.• Normal deskside support experience providing hardware and software support with at least 2 years of experience.
• Service Desk experience will be considered in lieu of deskside support based on level of support provided - especially if the help desk experience involved iPhone\iPad support.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple locations up to 2 hours away (mileage is reimbursable).
• Soft skills\communication skills are important.
