StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time, Program Protection Security Specialist, Journeyman to join our team in supporting the NAVAIR program office in Pax River, MD.
Successful candidates shall meet the minimum experience and education requirements and have demonstrated the necessary skills and subject matter expertise to assist with the Functional Description listed below.
Functional Description:
- Serves as the functional security expert for the Program Protection Planning (PPP) support via the Program Offices Program Protection Integrated Product Team (PPIPT’s).
- Coordinates with various stakeholders to ensure protection measures for program critical program information and mission critical components are identified and addressed in the Program Protection Plan and associated appendices.
- Ensures the PPP is implemented. Attend program meetings, technical interchanges, and planning conferences.
- Provide reports and recommendations as appropriate.
- Provide program management support for Technology Protection requirements.
- Develop, participate in and/or provide Program Protection training.
- Knowledge of IPPCE desired.
- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) preferred.

Experience Requirements:
- 3-10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
Education Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree in relevant field required.
- Allowable Substitution: Associate’s degree plus 2 years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. Or 4 years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment.
