Stevens Ford Lincoln is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Milford, CT

Stevens Ford has an immediate opening for a Full-time Business Development Representative working in a fast-growing dealership, you will act as the essential BDC Representative for the dealership. In this position, we need you to be friendly, articulate, enthusiastic, and a self-motivated team player.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for directing the Internet team.
  • Creating, monitoring, and maximizing an effective BDC team
  • Communicate effectively with Internet staff and other department employees.
  • Develop proficient use of CRM (customer relationship management) software.
  • Establish daily goals and objectives for Internet staff.
  • Create campaigns to develop new customers.
  • Work with internet leads accordingly to set an appointment for a proper vehicle demonstration.
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet.
  • Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly.
  • Work inbound leads while maintaining high closing ratios.
  • Requires heavy phone work in a highly professional office environment focused on closing leads, repeat deals and referrals.
  • Must be capable of closing using logic and common-sense solutions. Navigate lease and finance programs while demonstrating excellent client services.

Job Requirements 

  • Minimum two years Automotive Business Development or related field background
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance targets set by management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Drive to hit sales quotas and goals.
