Marlow’s Catering Sales Manager
The Market catering manager will report to the Market Partner and the General Manager. The catering sales manager will be responsible for growing offsite and onsite catering and large party sales in the market. They will have sales goals for each Individual tavern.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the catering market
· Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
· Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our catering services
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Event Coordination:
· Work closely with clients to plan and customize events, ensuring all requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
· Manage the entire event process, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
· Coordinate with internal departments (culinary, operations, etc.) to ensure seamless event execution.
· Oversee on-site management of events to guarantee high-quality service.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the catering or food service industry
· Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and build relationships
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
