Steps to Progress LLC is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Full-Time, Part-Time Near Houston, TX

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Steps to Progress has been providing ABA therapy in Houston for over 13 years. We are looking for full-time and part-time BCBAs to assist us in providing exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism.

What Makes Steps to Progress Different?

  • Our highest priority is to provide the most effective therapy for each chil
  • We serve clients of varied ages and abilities
  • We graduate children when they are ready, not at a specific age
  • Steps to Progress also provides PEAK/ACT/ABA/AIM therapy to children and teens with autism

Pay and Hours

  • $75,000 - $100,000 annual salary including bonuses for full-time BCBAs
  • $50 - $60/hr for part time BCBAs
  • Monday – Friday therapy hours

Work Environment

  • Steps to Progress provides primarily clinic-based ABA therapy; we also provide some in-home and in-school therapy
  • We pay for our BCBAs to stay current with evidence based practices so that they can provide the most appropriate and effective ABA therapy for each child
  • Full-time BCBAs determine how many hours to bill above a baseline of 22 hours per week and receive bonuses for additional hours
  • BCBAs schedule their time only. Our Schedule Coordinator schedules the RBTs and clients and communicates with parents regarding client absences and schedule changes
  • Sr. Therapist “floaters” are always available to help with clients, saving time for the BCBAs
  • BCBAs manage all aspects of their clients' therapy, from assessments to treatment plan preparation, RBT supervision, parent training, and coordination of care
  • BCBAs work collaboratively, discuss ideas, and support each other
  • BCBAs have an opportunity to provide input into Company operations
  • We support and assist BCBAs with parent issues
  • We take care of human resources matters so that BCBAs can focus on their clients

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed in Texas
  • Excellent rapport with children
  • Ability to adapt to best practices and be creative in developing programs and working with children with ASD
  • Experience with PEAK, AIM, and ACT is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and work with the parents of clients
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform formal assessments of clients and prepare treatment plans as needed to secure initial and recurring authorizations
  • Supervise RBT staff providing therapy for your clients according to client needs and BACB and insurance requirements
  • Conduct parent training with the families of assigned clients
  • Be responsible for the mentoring and coaching of selected RBTs
  • Visit with parents of prospective clients during clinic tours
