Stepp’s Heavy Transport is looking for an ambitious, self-motivated, and fearless Sales Representative. You will play a key role in promoting our services to customers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for identifying new leads and developing relationships with potential customers. This is not a remote position.

Essential Functions:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Provide quotes and gather information for the sales team to develop pricing or contracts.
• Create and implement sales strategies to increase revenue.
• Develop proposals (pricing per pricing guidelines).
• Build exceptional relationships with new and existing customers.
• Management interaction in all departments.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
• Continuously improve our customer experience through feedback.
• Generate and submit sales and other reports to management.
• Travel to both perspective and current customers’ locations to check in or answer any questions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven track record of growing company revenue as a Sales Representative.
• Knowledge in the heavy haul transportation industry required.
• Knowledge of multi-axle and over dimensional freight, including 11 & 13 axles a plus
• Dependability is a must.
• Ability and willingness to travel to client meetings.
• Prior experience in equipment hauling.
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.

Schedule:

Monday -Friday

Pay: 

$78,000- $88,000/year
