Steele Auto USA Inc. is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Kyle, TX

The Human Resources Manager, under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the human resources function within the TX, USA locations. The Human Resource Manager will provide the managers with guidance in all facets of the HR function including but not limited to: personnel management, wage analysis, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance. This position will also determine staffing requirements and be responsible for the recruitment process.

Job Duties

  • Oversee and assist department managers with personnel management within the dealerships.
  • Determine staffing requirements and oversee the full cycle recruitment process.
  • Responsible for onboarding of all new hires.
  • Manage employee compensation management systems, ensure accurate job descriptions, performs competitive market wage analysis, and make salary recommendations.
  • Efficient handling of any employee relations complaints and issues in accordance with employment law, policy to ensure positive working environment.
  • Responsible for the annual review and presentation of benefit policies with our agents making sure polices properly serve the needs of our staff and are competitive in the industry
  • Administer employee benefits plans, including 401k
  • Plan human resources requirements in conjunction with other departmental managers.
  • Administer progressive disciplinary action when required in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist managers with employee performance evaluations.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and deliver training as needed.
  • Develop training programs that are based on regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Conduct workplace investigations.
  • Ensure employees adhere to all OSHA regulations, including company policies.
  • Develop strategic performance metrics and targets that are consistent with company goals.
  • Ensure that all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Conduct annual employee compliance training.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to managers and employees on key workplace matters such as performance management, difficult conversations, employee relations, and employee development.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with federal and local employment law.
  • Monitor assigned payroll activities and program components for the purpose of ensuring effective department functioning, coordinating activities, and compliance with established financial, legal, and administrative requirements.
  • Conduct regulatory reporting (EEOC, OSHA, etc.)
  • Oversee the classification and rating of occupations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in business administration, human resources management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a human resources role.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strategic objectives for HR and the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage HR core processes such as talent management, succession planning, and employee relations.
  • Able to make sound business decisions and evidence-based recommendations to senior management.
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills.
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Able to interpret and implement personnel related legislation.
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of local and federal labour laws.


Work Conditions

  • Working in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Attending and conducting presentations.
  • Travel required (30% - 50%)
  • Overtime as required.
