ODNR owns and manages state parks, state forests, state nature preserves and wildlife areas. We license all hunting, fishing and watercraft; oversee and permit all mineral extraction, monitor dam safety, manage water resources and serve as the second largest Law Enforcement presence in the State of Ohio.
We are accepting applications for a Business Services Officerposition within the Division of Forestry, headquartered in Franklin County. The address is 2045 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. What you will do…

    • Coordinate & perform a variety of fiscal activities, personnel, and support functions: invoice and voucher processing, purchase orders, handling billing discrepancies, and telephone services.
    • Perform asset management: receive, inspect, & maintain inventory of materials such as new stock, supplies, and equipment (add new, salvage old), complete bi-annual inspections and annual certification.
    • Perform fleet management: coordinate and oversee an expansive fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment, coordinate transfers, reassignments, vehicle salvage, Voyagers cards, and fleet log reconciliation.
    • Perform general office duties: prepare routine correspondence, manage office equipment, prepare and maintain reports & records, submit work tickets, and serve as IT liaison.
    • Starting hourly pay of $20.92/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $25.45/hr.
