This position reports to the DVR Bureau of Vendor and Contracted Services Assistant Bureau Chief. The incumbent in this position must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal- directed behavior and performance sometimes under stressful conditions. The employee must interact courteously with others. The employee’s performance and behavior must demonstrate consideration of the workload concerns of others and must not negatively affect productivity and morale of the unit. Attendance is an essential function of this position.
Job Description:
This is independent and complex administrative and consultative work providing operational and management coordination for the agency.
This is a highly responsible professional position requiring the incumbent to function as contract manager over complex direct service contracts and grants. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
An understanding of contract management and monitoring methodologies. A working knowledge of Florida Statutes as they pertain to procurement, contract development and monitoring. Data collection and analysis methodologies. Basic management principles and practices. The skills to develop recommendations, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices. Project management and organizational skills. Report writing and presentation skills. Problem solving and research experience and skills. Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work. A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience. Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
