General Description
The Member Services Manager of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization is responsible for member and public communication, publicity of the certification program, and the design and maintenance of the TBLS website. The MSM is also responsible for the development of TBLS attorney and legal assistant exams and the design and maintenance of the database for the storage and retrieval of exam information.
Primary Functions
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. A minimum of ten years’ experience working with volunteers, preferably with professional boards and committees. Experience with website composition and function, with electronic communication, and with database management and use of computer networks. Experience with psychometrics, including the reliability and validity of exams. Ability to work with a diverse group of volunteers and respond to requests for information concerning the certification program.
