Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and assist with patient inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
- Follow proper infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding
- Strong knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required
