Genius Solutions Engineering, a part of Standex Engraving, is leading thermoforming tooling manufacturer for grained soft touch interior automotive components. Our tooling produces interior trim components for many of the biggest automotive manufacturers around the globe. We are actively searching for an experienced maintenance technician.

Essential Duties:

• Machine repair
• Machine set-ups, changeovers and operation
• Maintenance of machinery including knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Order and maintain spare part inventory
• Mechanical/Electrical Troubleshooting
• Building maintenance

Requirements:

• Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Quick learner who can retain a lot of small details
• Familiarity with all required tools and equipment
• Punctual
• Solution minded
• Local candidates only
• You must have a current valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and be able to pass a drug screen. All applicants will be subject to a background check.
• All applicants must have legal authorization to work in the US
• Ability to work with 12 VDC up to 480 VAC 3 phase power

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience and skill in the following areas preferred: Troubleshooting, electrical,
• hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, robotics, welding and basic fabrication.
• Minimum two to three years’ experience as a maintenance, electronic or robotics
• technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime / weekends if required for on-time delivery
• Must be able to lift and handle 50 pounds
