Stadler US is Hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern Near Salt Lake, UT

- Writing and developing Technical Specifications
- Design products using CAD
- Create Bills of Material (BOM) for assemblies and installations
- Cross-departmental collaboration in design feasibility and ongoing improvement
- Create designs in-line with company procedures, industry regulations and client standards
- Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis
- Current Junior- or Senior-level student in an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering program
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling software - CATIA V5 experience preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative to maintain project timelines
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong teamwork skills
- Fluent in English, any German ability is a plus
