THE OPPORTUNITY

We seek a junior production Planner to organize production according to demand and quality standards. Reporting to our Manufacturing Manager, you will support us by ensuring our goods are produced on time for efficient distribution. The schedule for this role is 6:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with the potential for overtime on a weekly basis. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
• Plan, kit, and prioritize daily 10- releases to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
• Address issues when they arise, aiming for minimum disruption (material and BOM variance, aging jobs, etc.).
• Maintain reports for production planning activities (on-time delivery (OTD), manufacturing variance analysis, etc.).
• Escalate complex issues to the manager for resolution.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
• Experience in MRP (Manufacturing resource planning)
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Good at math and statistics
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• High school diploma: Further education or certification is preferred
