St. Mary's University of San Antonio, a private, Catholic and Marianist University, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, 9-month, faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2024. This position will include a joint appointment in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Department of Biological Sciences. We are seeking a scientist with teaching expertise at the university level to teach Biochemistry I, Biochemistry II, and one or more of the following service courses: General Biology, General Chemistry, and Cell and Molecular Methods. This position also carries an expectation of research involving undergraduates, academic advising, and service at the department, school, University, and community levels. The presence of an active biomedical research community in the San Antonio area provides the opportunity to establish collaborative research projects in many fields.
