Saint Mark’s Episcopal School in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Lower School Art Assistant Teacher with a specialization in teaching elementary-aged children to add to its robust program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering artistic expression in young minds and the ability to create age-appropriate lessons that incorporate fine motor skills, multicultural perspectives, and diverse art media explorations.

Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom, childcare, or daycare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques
- Proficiency in various art mediums and techniques, including drawing, painting, and sculpture
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage and educate students of different ages and abilities
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
- Passion for art education and inspiring creativity in young minds
Must be able to clear a level 2 background check and have proof of eligibility to work in the US.
