HR ASSISTANT

St Augustine Youth services is a well-known and respected organization that has been providing residential therapeutic care to boys for over 30 years. We're looking for a Human Resource Assistant to help support our team.

The ideal candidate will be able to create new employee packets, manage employee records, organize and update files, and prepare reports. On a daily basis, you will answer phone calls, handle scheduling and ensure the office calendar is current, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

WHAT WE VALUE:

- Three years of secretarial experience (AA/AS or certificate from business school can be substituted).

- Business background.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Office 365).

- The ability to type at least 50 CWPM.

- Shorthand/speedwriting or dictation experience.

- The ability to work/deal with emergency situations.

- The ability to work as part of a team.
