We are looking for a Lead .NET Developer to join our Project Technology team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create a variety of technical solutions, to explore exciting new technologies, to develop new skills and thrive in a fast-paced growing environment. This senior level position comes with leadership responsibilities by way of coaching and mentoring of intermediate and junior staff. You will be called upon to evaluate legacy processes and systems and to identify long-term plans for improvement and redesign. You will interface with key stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities for new efficiencies. You will assess new tools and analyze the latest software trends to keep SSOE at the forefront of the market. Responsibilities

A Typical Day Might Include:

• Design and implement custom software solutions to fit the needs of end users
• Maintain existing application software and develop strategies for future support
• Engage in all aspects of the SDLC process including effort estimation, system design, and software testing
• Act as a full stack developer, supporting all software architecture tiers including UIs, service APIs and backend databases
• Support system architecture including the designing of hosting environments, supporting of middleware and cloud resources, and the assessment of application impact on network and security architecture
• Contribute to the security, scalability and strength of our application landscape
• Create and maintain documentation for applications and technical processes
• Participate as a thought leader in industry conferences and technical user groups
• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical departments in the creation of software solutions
• Create material and perform training for both technical and non-technical trainees
• Contribute to internal team standards and model adherence of those standards for other associates
• Lead discovery meetings with end users to determine project requirements
• Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of the development team
• Mentor junior staff on both technical and professional matters
• Lead software demonstration sessions to business and leadership
• Research and analyze new technologies and software development trends
• Advise company leadership on technology and software best practices
• Contribute to the annual company technology planning and budgeting process
• Manage Technology or Development scopes of work and drive project delivery.
• Further mature DevOps and software release strategies including building out Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines

Qualifications

Qualifications You’ll Need on Day One:

• Proficiency with C#, .NET, Entity Framework, Azure Apps, MS SQL, OAuth, REST, ASP .NET MVC, Git
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 10 years of experience with software development
• The ability to execute and lead communication using digital platforms, such as Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams
• Confident in tailoring presentations to different audiences including executives, management, clients, end users and peers
• A proven track record for managing software development projects successfully and driving team results
• Experience with Autodesk software, especially Revit API and Autodesk Platform Services preferred
• Experience within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry preferred
• Experience with data architecture and analytics, data warehousing and artificial intelligence preferred
• Experience with agile software practices preferred
• Salary Range: $120,000-130,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
