SPS Commerce is growing- We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst (Sr. AP Analyst) to join our Finance team. As a Sr. AP Analyst, you will be responsible for processing invoices, understanding various expense types, coding invoices, processing purchase orders, maintaining the AP inbox, and responding to various stakeholders both inside and outside of the company. The Day-to-Day

The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for expenses, expense reconciliation, forecasting for non-personnel expenses, variance analysis, business support, monthly journal entries, weekly check runs, and assisting with audit requests and internal financial reporting. In addition, this role will share responsibility for the corporate credit card program and processing expense reports.

• Review invoices for approval, assign accurate and appropriate coding, maintain vendor records, and ensure timely recording of expenses in Concur
• Maintain Accounts Payable inbox daily to ensure timely processing of invoices
• Assist with annual and quarterly audits with public accounting firm
• Perform ad-hoc accounting projects and other responsibilities, as assigned
• Review purchase requests and process according to Purchase Policy
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
• Track supplier/vendor performance and resolve and issues and concerns
• Analyze industry demand trends, support senior management in developing implementing sourcing strategies.
• Work with all levels of management in expense control, spending analysis and forecasting
• Maintain account reconciliations and conduct analysis of accounts, as required
• Create monthly journal entries and related support for accruals, transfers, and adjustments

Education and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong Excel skills and a working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Concur highly preferred
• Experience with Navision ERP highly preferred
• Understanding of controls around AP and cash
• Experience with coding invoices
• Team player attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service to internal and external customers
