Spring Arbor Senior Living in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented part-time Maintenance Assistant for our community.

- Availability to 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. on some weekdays (weekends only if needed)
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior maintenance work experience, preferred
- Previous driving experience
- Patience and desire to work with seniors
- Dependable
- Pleasant, friendly, and helpful at all times ensuring proper and timely service
- Ability to learn tasks and follow written and oral instructions
WHAT YOU WILL DO!
- Clean carpets and floors
- Paint as required
- Move and clean furniture when necessary
- Prepare rooms for incoming residents
- Repair light fixtures, furniture, and minor electrical and plumbing problems as needed
- Outside landscaping as required (mow, mulch, weed wack, leaf blow)
- Maintain all outside lighting, ensure it is in working order
- Repair and/or clean the company vehicle as needed
- Clean gutters when necessary
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lots
- Transport residents according to an established schedule
- Assist coworkers with other duties as needed in other areas of the community to include but not limited to transportation, housekeeping, food service
