- Communicating with donors as needed via phone, email, mail, or in-person.
- Conducting research into current and prospective donors.
- Data entry, filing, mail preparations, and other administrative tasks.
- Assisting all Development operations, including fundraising campaigns and events.
- Attending Development meetings including as related to organizational updates and strategic planning.
- Participating in both independent and collaborate projects as they arise.
- Currently completing an undergraduate degree, preferably in the areas of communications, social work/social welfare, business administration, public administration, nonprofit management or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Willingness to be flexible to the dynamic needs of the Department in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work at least 7 to 14 hours (1 or 2 days a week) during the summer months. Hours can be split between 2 half days if desired.
