Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the Program Manager, the Program Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership, mentoring, training and program quality assurance to our Multi-Disciplinary Outreach Teams, in order to ensure the highest quality provision of services. Program Supervisor’s primary responsibilities will be to conduct daily tracking of outreach activities, be responsible for day-to-day oversight of field operations, develop and coordinate relationships with partner agencies, ensure program quality control and documentation accuracy, provide ongoing training to all the E6 teams, and to monitor follow-through of client linkages and referrals.

Minimum Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
MSW, MPH or MFT degree from an accredited university OR 5 years’ experience working in the social service field If in recovery, a minimum of three (3) years of being drug and alcohol free is MANDATORY.
Ability to work with clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Verification of Employment Eligibility and Background Clearance Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Current proof of Auto Insurance required.
TB test required (Not more than (3) months prior to or (7) days after date of hire and renewal annually thereafter.)
CPR and First Aid Certification required within 30 days of employment with company. Ability to use Excel spreadsheets, HMIS, and word processing skills required. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written direction. Knowledge of various community based treatment providers is necessary.
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and show valid proof. Must be tested every 30 days for COVID-19 and upload the test results into our HR system, and adhere to all Division and Agency safety protocols, until governing bodies (CDC, State of California, etc) and SSG determine the pandemic is over.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Program Supervisor will be responsible for supervision of outreach teams, and may be responsible for other staff as needed. The Program Supervisor will be responsible for approving staff timesheets, disciplinary actions, staff evaluations and other duties associated with administrative supervision as necessary.
Environmental Conditions (Working Conditions):
The environment for this position is office and field based. Must be able to work in an environment with many priorities, busy, and fast paced. Must be able to problem solve, adapt to changes that are unpredictable. Must be able to work with highly aggressive clients. Must be able to work in various shelter environments.
Exposed to highly aggressive clients: must communicate too many sources including courts and outside community agencies: sometimes noisy, loud and disruptive clients.
Physical Requirements:
In the course of performing this job, the incumbent typically spends time sitting, standing, walking, speaking, thinking, listening, and carrying (20lbs). Will spend some time each week providing oversight to outreach teams operating in possibly dangerous situations near streets, river bottoms and homeless encampments. Must sit at computer for data entry and reports: sometimes spend time driving and walking and carrying equipment/files/charts. Assisting client with moving their personal belongings. Speak to staff and outside agencies in public meetings and Provider Meetings. Represent the Agency in a professional and positive manner
