Construction Contract Administrator RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Contract Administration
EXTENT OF JOB:
Administers the Construction Contract, represent the Owner during construction, and monitor construction.
SPECIFICS
Assists Director of Technical Services as required.
Assists Director of Contract Administration as required.
Assists Interior Design personnel as required.
Monitors construction.
Visits construction site and review construction for conformance to documents and accepted methods of construction.
Responds to Owners/Contractors questions.
Develops construction inspection reports.
Photographs project.
Monitors Construction Costs
Reviews Contractors Pay Application.
Reviews Contractors Cost Proposals.
Processes Change Orders.
Monitors alternates.
Records Project Cost Data.
Document Construction
Develops revised/supplemental (RS) drawings.
Logs phone conversations.
Holds pre-construction meetings.
Reviews shop drawings.
Develops punch lists.
Miscellaneous Duties
Keeps Owner, Principal-in-Charge, and Project Manager informed.
Interprets Owner/Contractor and Owner/Architect contracts.
