Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality control throughout the construction process.
Duties:
- Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Create and manage project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project goals are met
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to review project plans and specifications
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and approving invoices
- Conduct regular meetings with project team members to provide updates and address any issues or concerns
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits throughout the construction process
- Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Prolog, HeavyBid)
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction estimating
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
