Position Summary

SBS is seeking a multi-platform Production Manager to join our dynamic LaMusica and radio stations team in Miami. The Production Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the production process. This position involves overseeing a talented team, guiding them from concept development to final delivery to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Production Manager fosters a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and excellence in content creation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate original content for digital platforms and social media that align with the brand’s identity and resonates with the target audience.
• Pitch creative concepts and collaborate with talent to bring creative visions to life while maintaining brand integrity.
• Collaborate with talents, including DJs/On-Air Talents, Hosts, and interviewers, to ensure their performances meet production standards.
• Provide coaching and feedback to enhance talent performance and capabilities.
• Oversee post-production edits to ensure content meets quality standards, is engaging for the audience, and meets quality benchmarks.
• Acts as hands-on editor when necessary, leveraging expertise to refine visual and storytelling elements.
• Coordinate coverage of special events, interviews, and junkets.
• Manage logistics from pre-production planning to post-event follow ups.
• Conduct insightful interviews with artists, celebrities, and industry figures to showcase their stories and perspectives.
• Manage production budgets effectively, ensuring projects are completed within allocated financial resources.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies to optimize budge utilization.
• Ensure all content complies with legal and regulatory requirements, including copyright laws and industry standards.
• Maintain high-quality standards for all production deliverables, including audio, video, and written content.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and talent management teams, to align production objectives with overall business goals.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and opportunities effectively to key stakeholders.

• Proven track record in leading and managing production teams.
• Experience overseeing all aspects of content creation from concept development to final delivery.
• Ability to develop and pitch creative concepts that resonate with the target audience while driving engagement and brand awareness.
• Experience collaborating with talents, DJs, hosts, interviewers, and overall industry figures.
• Proficient in overseeing the editing process to ensure content is polished, captivating, and meets quality benchmarks.
• Hands-on experience editing using industry standard software.
• Experience with managing budgets.
• Clear understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, including copyright laws.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with excellent time management.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred.
• Must be able to work well under strict deadlines and pressure.
• Able to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
