Southwest Solutions is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Detroit, MI

POSITION SUMMARY:
Position will manage the full-cycle talent acquisition process as well as off-boarding of all staff. Primary responsibilities include recruiting, background screening, hiring, on-boarding, and HRIS file set-up. HR Generalist may also lead the employee exit and off-boarding process. Responsibilities include scheduling and facilitating exit interviews, assisting with collection of equipment, providing communication to appropriate departments, and updating the employee status in HRIS. Position will also provide support for training, benefits or other special projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Three years' work experience as a human resources professional with a focus on recruitment and staff retention
  • Demonstrated familiarity with applicant tracking systems/HRIS, job boards and social media
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-Certified Professional (CP) preferred
  • Proficient in use the use of all MS Office applications, and experience working with an HRIS (UKG/Kronos) and other web-based solutions
COMPENSATION:
$53,000 to $63,000 (Full-Time/Non Union)
