Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Cincinnati, OH

The Medical Receptionist provides administrative support and patient service support to the voice pathologists and staff of our Cincinnati ProVoice Center.
  • Open the office and start up equipment and technology appropriately to prepare for first patients.
  • Prepare paperwork and charts for appointments and procedures.
  • Greet arriving patients in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Enter and verify patient information, copy insurance cards, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional, friendly manner. Route calls and take messages as needed.
  • Schedule appointments and procedures for patients calling or referring physician staff.
  • Send appropriate registration and consent paperwork as needed.
  • Obtain pre-certifications as needed and enter information into the practice management system.
  • Coordinate information and paperwork with billing office to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Work with SOENTS schedulers as needed for patient appointments and procedures.
  • Coordinate schedules for voice pathologists.
  • Timely and appropriately respond to e-mails and phone messages.
  • Provide patient appointment reminders per office guidelines.
  • Alert clinicians when patient is ready for the appointment.
  • Clean and prepare rooms, instruments and equipment per office guidelines.
