Southwest Network Company Brand is Hiring a Chief Human Resources Officer Near Phoenix, AZ

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) functions as a member of the executive leadership team, and is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent, organizational and performance management, as well as compensation, benefits, employee relations, and change management. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, stakeholders, the community, and the board of directors.

All members of our team are expected to provide support and services in accordance with the Nine Guiding Principles for Recovery Oriented Adult Behavioral Health Services and Systems and practice in a manner that is consistently mindful of the 12 Principles of The Arizona Vision for Children.

REQUIREMENTS

Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years human resources experience required; SPHR/PHR certification highly preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid Arizona state fingerprint clearance card.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 

Knowledge, Ability, and Skills

  • Requires knowledge of human resources including specifics related to FMLA, FLSA, Arizona state statutes and law, National Labor law (NLRB), compensation planning, benefits regulations, and standards of practice.
  • Understands bylaws, articles of incorporation and credentialing procedures.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and manage sensitive information and investigations.
  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to maintain excellent employee relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Must be competent in the use of electronic medical records software, as well as in the use of a computer, printer, copier, and telephone. Preferred typing skills of 25 to 40 WPM. Occasional use of fax machines, security systems, and other office equipment.
  • Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
