Collections Representative ($22-24 Full-time)
Southwest Mobile Storage in Phoenix is looking a Collections representative. We are the Valley's leader in the storage container rental business - we take pride in our world-class customer service and product quality. If you are a self-starter with a great sense of urgency and have knowledge of FDCPA and other regulatory guidelines for the collection industry keep reading. We are seeking a “Type A” individual with experience in accounts receivable and collections.
Responsibilities:
- Outgoing collections calls
- Payment processing
- Negotiate the return of unpaid containers
- Account/payment reconciliations
- Account research and dispute management
- Escalate accounts when necessary
Required Qualifications:
- More than 2 years’ experience in B2B collections
- Confident and comfortable performing collections while being firm and maintaining composure
- Fantastic skip tracking ability
- Competent in accounting concepts and analytics
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite products
- Professional, well-spoken phone etiquette
- Effectively communicate via email.
Preferred Skills Needed for Success:
- Energetic, coach-able, professional, and reliable
- Knowledgeable of lien waivers and repossessions
- Able to collect past due balances while maintaining a good relationship with the customer
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) (not required but it would be nice)
