SOUTHWEST MOBILE STORAGE is Hiring a Class A CDL Driver Near Tucson, AZ
Yard Attendant Responsibilities:
- Grinding/painting
- Sweeping and hosing
- Replacing tile or epoxy flooring
- Repairing drywall holes
- Cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls
- Safely transport storage ready and refurbished overseas containers to and from our main yard to customer locations in Phoenix and throughout Arizona (this position is not considered an “over-the-road” driving structure)
- Use chains, straps, and winch to secure equipment on to the truck
- Survey the customers’ property for obstruction, and advise if needed on the placement of the container
- May be asked to interact with our customers, building relationships throughout your territory
- Work with our internal office and yard staff to ensure safety, customer satisfaction and quality control
- Must be able to drive a 10 speed manual transmission
- Monday through Friday availability 4am – 2:30pm
- 2 years’ recent CDL Class A or B experience
- Valid medical certificate and physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle
- At least 21 years of age
- Must possess good dexterity in shoulders, lower back and knees
- High school diploma or GED
- Very proficient in the English language
- Authorized for employment in the United States (sponsorships not available)
- Ability to pass 10 panel drug test, thorough background screening and MVR
- Prior experience with a heavy duty 10 wheel rollback winch truck with hydraulic tilt bed a plus
- Towing experience a plus
- Landoll trailer experience helpful
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have a safety oriented mind set
- No overnight travel, home all evenings
