Southwest Center is Hiring a Technology Services Director Near Louisville, KY
We are seeking applicants for a Technology Services Director who would beresponsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions for staff and participants serviced.
Responsibilities
Analyzes complex business needs and recommends technical solutions.
Ensures the consistency, compatibility, and maintainability of existing software.
Manages and maintains software, LMS, electronic records systems, etc., to ensure they are effective in supporting all programs.
Directs the execution of strategic IT projects.
Stays current and makes recommendations regarding technological developments in software development, systems application support, and management and user support practices.
Participates in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts.
Monitors the network and server.
Ensures that all backup systems are practical and functional.
Conducts periodic IT needs assessments for all program areas.
Identifies hardware and software systems that can enhance the organization's effectiveness.
Supervises Enabling Technicians.
Travels to service locations, as needed.
Cooperates and works as a team member with co-workers and supervisors. Treats co-workers and supervisors with respect. Promotes teamwork and maintains a positive attitude.
Completes initial and annual training-(CPR, First Aid, Tb skin assessment, etc.) as directed by Agency policy and regulatory standards. Attends monthly staff meetings and additional staff development trainings as scheduled.
Adheres to Agency policy and procedures. Maintains a consistent work attendance record. Limits use of calling off to a minimum and notifies direct supervisor in appropriate amount of time when unable to report to work.
Fosters collaborative working relationships among members of the leadership and management teams and programs.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Able to read, understand and implement written and oral instructions. Ability to maintain client confidentiality. Knowledgeable in current technologies and projects used in healthcare. EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields At least one (1) year experience in healthcare IT OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years of age Must pass a criminal background check Must pass pre-employment & random drug testing Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
