Southern Tier Health Care System, Inc. is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Olean, NY

Job Overview:
Southern Tier Health Care System is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide crucial support to the President & CEO. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to exercise independent judgment, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the operation of daily agency functions.
  • Assist in the coordination of agency-related committees and activities, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
  • Manage scheduling tasks, including meetings, travel arrangements, conferences, and other activities.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products to create and manage correspondence, including letters, memos, forms, and policies, while maintaining confidentiality as needed.
  • Maintain telephone coverage, manage copier projects, handle mail, oversee supplies inventory, and facilitate internal and external communication channels.
  • Assist in managing schedules and fielding calls for the President & CEO.
  • Coordinate the company-wide utilization of training facilities.
  • Maintain organized contract files to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
  • Maintain training calendar, training room schedule and meeting schedules.
  • Maintain STHCS facility use agreement and insurance forms from various entities scheduling room use.
  • Ensures receipt of payment for facility use from various community organizations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a health-related field, business administration, or human relations preferred, or equivalent 3 years practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage diversified workloads, and exercise independent judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,200.00 - $33,000.00 per year
