Rate: $41,700 - $47,500 (@ 1.0 FTE) or $31,275 - $41,325 (@ .75 FTE)
Position Summary:This recruitment will hire up to 2 positions, each at .75FTE - 1.0 FTE
Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Students, the Care Coordinator provides intervention and case management services designed to promote individual student success and retention. This is accomplished through effective case management and coordination of referrals for holistic services (inclusive of student services and support, tutoring, counseling, disability resources, health services, financial aid, and registration). The Care Coordinator creates, delivers, and coordinates access to student services by cultivating relationships and developing processes in partnership with appropriate campus and community resources.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree. Experience with/ability to interact with a diverse population.
Preferred Qualification :Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, social work, mental health counseling, Public Health, or related field. Experience working on college campuses with college students. Training in suicide intervention or prevention (ASIST, QPR, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to effectively communicate information in a clear and understandable manner. Provide direct student support to assess and provide assistance regarding distressing and sensitive situations they may be navigating. Ability to work with a high level of productivity and accuracy/attention to detail. Coordinate with various campus partners to ensure coherent integration of campus and community resources for individual students who face challenges with academic, health, conduct, substance abuse, financial and social issues. Collaborative skills: demonstrated ability to thrive on a multidisciplinary team requiring diplomacy and professionalism to effectively support a broad range of student situations. Effectively perform work of a sensitive and confidential nature that requires access to information. Must be able to exercise sound judgment and discretion, tact, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the demonstrated ability to set own priorities to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines. Excellent computer skills and proficiency with a variety of computer applications including word-processing, spreadsheets, databases, online systems, social media platforms, internet as well as online calendaring and email. Working knowledge of or ability to quickly learn university infrastructure, policies and procedures. Ability to attend occasional off-site professional conferences or training sessions.

Special Conditions
Must be willing to travel and attend training programs off-site for occasional professional development.
Must be able to work additional hours and adjust working hours to meet special jobs. May be called back periodically to perform work as needed on an emergency basis.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
