Southern Integrated Solutions & Consulting is Hiring a Technical Sales Specialist Near Houston, TX

Overview:

Our SISC team is expanding, and we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven technical sales specialist for our Houston, TX operations.
In this role you will be responsible for meeting predefined sales goals by leveraging your technical expertise to drive sales and foster relationships with existing clients as well as obtaining new clients. Working closely with our engineering team, you will identify customer needs, provide technical solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in engineering and a proven track record in technical sales. If you are passionate about technology and enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced sales environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
    • Uncover new opportunities for SISC in existing accounts.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through proactive prospecting and networking.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet unique client needs.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
    • Execute effective sales presentations and lead exhibitions and meetings.
    • Ensure a cohesive approach to client acquisition within the sales team.
  • Marketing:
    • Implement marketing strategies to enhance visibility and promote SISC’s services.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
    • Create marketing materials to showcase our solutions.
  • Customer Service:
    • Foster a strong client relationship through effective communication and problem-solving.
    • Monitor client satisfaction and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Reporting:
    • Provide reliable, real-time forecasts (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
    • Assume total responsibility and accountability for assigned territory.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in automation and controls engineering
  • 5 years of successful engineering sales experience
  • Proficient in project costing and bidding process
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
