Department of Mental Health providing care and support for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. SOUTH MISSISSIPPI REGIONAL CENTER IS SEEKING AN ADMIN ASSISTANT III
WORK LOCATION: Diagnostic Support
PAY: $26,185.60
SCHEDULE/SHIFTS: Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:30 p.m., with variations as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Administrative Support Assistant III Position is in the Diagnostic Services Department and plays a critical role in the timely completion of evaluation reports. The admin requests records from various providers each week while at the same time, follows up on records that have been requested but not received. Obtaining this information is essential so that the Diagnostic Services team is able to provide the most comprehensive and accurate evaluation for the person requesting services.
Additional responsibilities:
Provides direct administrative/clerical support to the director and staff of diagnostic services. Compiles and assembles data for reports. Distributes mail. Orders, distributes, and accounts for supplies. Processes time keeping records and manages time clock data for the department. Kronos knowledge is a plus. Maintains hard copy and electronic files, records, and inventory. Maintains records in the Division of Medicaid's LTSS System. Coordinates office calendar. Type correspondences and other documents. Organizes special events and/or meetings. Drafts individual and department correspondence. Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from high school or equivalent (GED or High School Equivalency Diploma); AND Three - Five (3-5) years of experience in work related to the described duties.
