Our direct client, a holding/asset management firm, located in NYC is seeking to add a senior technical Product Manager to their team in a newly created role that will report directly to the CTO.This is a hybrid role based in NYC (3 days) and may occasionally require travel to Greenwich, CT (at the MetroNorth stop!). Compensation is flexible for the right individual based on experience and will include an annual bonus as a substantial part of overall total compensation.In this position the individual will have a diverse influence and leadership across the entire IT asset management technology landscape including: fund accounting, trade execution, order management, valuation, due diligence, research, etc. This is a very exciting role for the right individual. Candidates MUST come from a financial services firm with a strong understanding of industry-leading solutions in the Asset Management space.Benefits are excellent. Responsibilities:

• Platform Leadership - spearhead direction/evolution of systems
• System Expertise - guide systems/platforms to support operational excellence
• Market Connectivity - Oversee integration/enhancement of real-time market data feeds
• Data Quality - Work with data team to ensure robust platforms/pipelines
• Analytical Insights
• Data Science Innovation - work with data team on new innovations in this area
• Reporting/Visualization - ensure cutting-edge reports/dashboards that communicate portfolio metrics and performance insights
• Compliance Focus - work with security/compliance teams to ensure information integrity and adherence to industry regulations and internal reporting requirements
• Client-Centric Solutions - design and implement effective investor relationship tools and platforms
• Project Leadership and Team Management - Champion technology initiatives for the assess management business

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering or a related field; with Masters Degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in asset management technology
• Experience with Blackrock Aladdin and Salesforce are required. Any SS&C solutions are a big plus.
• Strong functional business understanding across the AM landscape (trading, order management, fund accounting, etc.) with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders/investment professionals at all levels to understand technology needs.
• Prior technical background including an understanding of Snowflake, APIs, underlying platform architecture, data pipelines, Modern Reporting/Analytic tools - Tableau/PowerBI, etc. (will work closely with the data and other technical teams).
• Ability to work with and manage relationships with their party implementation providers and partners.
• Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
• A naturally curious personality and mindset - someone who loves to keep up with new technologies.
