Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Business Analyst. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing testing leadership, expertise and guidance necessary toward the successful delivery of the project and the associated deliverables, and will provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting automated testing status.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual testing.
• Evaluate results from both automated and manual testing.
• Perform Javascript testing.
• Develop and share scripts and test cases as needed.
• Create and maintain Quality Management Plan.
• Collaborate with Business Liaison and Product Owner to ensure requirements are sufficient to implement, and avoid scope creep.
• Collaborate with other Agile Teams to support continuous code integration.
• Verify user stories meets with acceptance criteria.
• Verify negative/boundary tests have passed system acceptance test environment.
• Participate in daily SCRUMs.
• Create tests through scripting
• Identify and document functional requirements and create user stories for the client's application.
• Work to design and test functional components of the system according to project specifications.
• Develop project documentation and user training materials according to program specifications.
• Provide technical support to end users.
• Perform program management support tasks, such as status reporting and work plan maintenance.
• Plan and manage the work of information systems project teams.
• Design and implement new organization structures, conceptual design and development of training curricula.
• Assist an organization to translate its vision and strategy into core human resources and business processes.
• Lead clients through streamlining, reengineering and transforming business processes
• Develop and execute project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in any related field.
• Mimimum 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 8 years experience as Business Analyst.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Agile Development Methodologies.
• Experience in unit, and Integration testing of SPA. Angular.io (typescript) preferred.
• Experience in Automated Smoke and Deployment testing of Web Applications (Selenium).
• Experience in Python ETL testing preferred.
• AWS experience preferred.
• Gitlab experience preferred.
• Section 508 Compliance Accreditation preferred.
• Experience working with project budgets.
• Must be able to develop strong client relationships.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication..
• Must be able to work independently, with little to no oversight.
