Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse is Hiring a Bartender Near Philadelphia, PA
Qualified candidate will be personable, articulate and have at least 2 year of previous bartending experience in an upscale, high end restaurant or 4 diamond hotel and 1 year of previous serving experience.
S / He will be responsible for welcoming guests in our urban chic lounge Liberté, explaining the menu and taking food and beverage orders.
Other responsibilities include setting up the lounge (mise en place). Knowledge of Silverware a plus, or two years’ experience with a comparable restaurant software system.
Candidate should have experience in opening and closing shifts, table service, wine service, knowledge of food and wine pairing, knowledge of high-end liquors and aperitifs and experience with a high end bar menu.
Must be pleasant, well spoken, gracious and willing to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
