The two founders have unparalleled domain knowledge and AI expertise - Bella Liu led AI product and business development teams at UiPath (enterprise automation leader) from the early stage to post IPO and Will Lu led the engineering teams at Google building successful enterprise AI products in the last decade. Throughout the beta development, Orby has partnered with some of the world's largest organizations to deploy the product and save users valuable time. They also hired world-class engineering, research, and design talent from Google, Microsoft, and Stanford who have extensive experience building cutting-edge technologies. Orby recently raised a Series A round from top VCs with a strong track record of backing category-defining companies.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process for a first-of-its-kind AI product
• Show a strategic design vision for what an eventual experience should look like and have the north star in mind to work backward
• Define the strategy and success metrics for product design and build an effective and scalable design process
• Understand the user and business context deeply and relentlessly focus on user experience
• Come up with innovative design ideas and able to prioritize the ideas which best serve users, known constraints and business goals, with the right balance
• Strong ability to quickly create ready-to-use product design solutions including wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and pixel perfect final design.
• Able to thoroughly think through all user scenarios and create scalable solutions
• Build Orby's design system library, components and design language
• Effectively work with customers, product and engineering teams to deliver high quality design work
• Track key success metrics and leverage insights to improve continuously

Where We Work

• We work in a hybrid model. During the week we're in the office three days a week. During the day we have core hours when everyone is expected to be available. We are currently hiring in Sunnyvale, CA, although we do sometimes make exceptions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or a related field
• 7 years of relevant work experience
• Proven track record of successful building 0 to 1 products and owning the end to end design for complex products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skillss

Preferred Qualifications

• Having worked in designing for AI or related emerging technologies
• Having worked in early stage and fast growing startups
• Familiarity with workflow automation and productivity tooling is a plus

Compensation

• We aim to attract and retain the best employees and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contributions to the company.
• Base comp range: $160-200K. Generous equity.
