Sockeye is seeking an energetic, independent, and collaborative Client Services Manager to oversee clients in our Amsterdam office. You would be the trusty bridge between the agency and the client. The point guard. Lose the metaphors and you are, simply, someone who facilitates communication and great work.

Sockeye’s Client Services Manager will often (though not aways) work with our Project Managers and Producers to oversee projects across a number of disciplines, including strategy, branding, environmental & experiential builds, activations, social media content, and video production. This position will interface with clients as well as in-house and freelance staff – from creative development through production and delivery. Your ultra-talented day-to-day team is based in Amsterdam while your extended team and manager are based in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and grow client partnerships, connect people and shape ideas to move great brands forward.
• Represent client interests to the agency and grease the communication skids.
• Craft sell-in decks with strong strategic skills and moxie.
• Develop airtight scopes of work.
• Wrangle the creative process from brief to deliverable.
• Balance objectives with budgets and production dreams with deliverable realities.
• Provide a strong, creative POV. You are, in our eyes, inherently creative.
• Facilitate client meetings, craft agendas and meeting notes with accuracy.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of account management / client services experience at a creative agency.
• Demonstrate significant success with client relationship management and growing business.
• Have a passion for sport, fashion, and cultural experiences with a desire to understand our clients’ needs, pain points and develop creative solutions to those pain points.
• Solid understanding of the planning, creative, print, digital, experiential and content/video production processes.
• Be a natural team leader, a self-starter (you’re driven and you know how to make things happen).
• Outstanding communication skills across all channels (phone, in-person, email, Slack).
• Able to travel within the EU.
• Strong organizational and project management skills a plus.
