We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and administration across the US using ADP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities: ADP System Management • Oversee and utilize ADP Vantage/eTime to process payroll for employees accurately and on time. • Stay updated on the latest features and functionalities of ADP to optimize system usage. • Collaborate with ADP support as needed to resolve any system issues and ensure smooth payroll processing. Payroll Processing • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data input, payroll runs, and verification of accuracy. • Review and audit payroll data for completeness and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll taxes, benefits, and other deductions. • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner. • Address employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll. Compliance • Stay abreast of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements. • Implement and maintain processes that ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations. • Prepare and submit required government reports related to payroll, taxes, and other financial obligations. • Coordinate and provide information to support internal and external audits as required. Team Collaboration and Leadership • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of payroll-related activities. • Manage and lead a small payroll team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. • Conduct regular training sessions for employees on payroll-related processes and policies. • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss updates, address challenges, and foster a collaborative and positive work environment. • Facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities for the payroll team to enhance their skills and knowledge. • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. • Assist in various other projects and duties as assigned.

The Individual

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager, preferably with ADP Vantage/eTime. • Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, regulations and procedures. • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy. • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, and other computer applications. • Capacity to communicate in oral and written English.
