LHH is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Kansas, MO
Job responsibilities include:
- Processing payroll for approximately 550 employees- hourly and salaried- on one biweekly payroll schedule
- Ensuring all aspects of the payroll cycle- including wages taxes, benefits, and more- are reconciled, audited, and transmitted timely and accurately
- Maintaining and coordinating the bonus incentive and deferred compensation processes
- Researching and resolving employee queries, ensuring a high level of service
- Tracking and managing all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits, and garnishments
- Maintaining compliance regarding local, state, and federal payroll tax laws
- Facilitating the employee change process in various company systems and managing current and correct electronic personnel files for all employees
- Must have experience processing payroll with ADP (ideally WorkforceNow and eTime) and using ADP’s reporting functions
- At least 3 (three) years of professional experience in payroll is required
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required; commensurate professional experience will be considered in lieu of education
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work with varying levels of management is needed
- Strong Excel skillset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a huge plus
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
